Dr. Philip Dreisbach, MD founded DHO in 1978. Prior to starting DHO, Dr. Dreisbach served as Director of Emergency Room at San Marta Hospital, East Los Angeles, CA as well as serving in the United States Air Force as a Major, Department of Medicine, Barksdale Air Force Base Hospital, Bossier City, LA.‍Dr. Dreisbach also served one year as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine, Milton S. Hershey School of Medicine, Hershey, PA and eight years as Assistant Clinical Professor, Division of Medical Oncology, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Luke Dreisbach joined DHO in 2001. Prior to joining DHO, Dr. Dreisbach spent one year as the Lead Internist for inpatient, outpatient and ICU care in a remote outback community in Queensland, Australia and two years as an Emergency Room physician with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Tucson, AZ.

Dr. Law joined DHO in 2010. Prior to joining DHO, Dr. Law spent 9 years at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA specializing in Medical Oncology and Hematology and 3 years as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts School of Medicine, Boston, MA.

Dr. Mark Carmichael is a seasoned hematologist and medical oncologist with over 25 years of experience. He has practiced at Desert Hematology Oncology since 2017 and is affiliated with Eisenhower Medical Center.‍Dr. Carmichael has notable military experience. Prior to arriving in the Desert, he served as a hematologist and medical oncologist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, and Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii.‍Notable military medical leadership positions include service as a battalion flight surgeon at Camp Stanley, Korea, chief of medical residents at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Texas, and brigade surgeon at Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan.‍ Dr. Carmichael maintains board certifications in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Davis joined DHO in 2022. Prior to joining DHO, Dr. Davis spent 7 years with the Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN as a staff physician in Hematology and Medical Oncology. Dr. Davis also served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, IN. He was active in teaching medical students, residents and fellows. ‍Dr. Davis is open to new patients for the full scope of hematology and medical oncology.

Dr. Pantino will be joining DHO in November 2025. ‍ Dr. Pantino completed her Internal Medicine residency at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson in Easton, PA and served as Chief Resident in her final year. She completed her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia and served as Chief Fellow.

Dr. Behnke will be joining DHO in August 2025. Dr. Behnke's practice will cover all rheumatological diseases and related disorders as well as overlapping conditions with medical oncology.‍ Prior to joining DHO, Dr. Behnke served as Chair of Resident Outpatient Medicine at HCA-Health One at Sky Ridge Medical Center, Parker, CO and Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at HCA-Health One at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, CO.

Sheri has been with Desert Hematology Oncology since 2013. Prior to joining DHO, Sheri spent 27 years in nursing and as a nurse practitioner with experience in various clinical settings including 10 years as an Advanced Trauma Flight RN for Loma Linda Medical Center.

Anette has been with Desert Hematology Oncology since 2018. Anette's previous experience includes 19 years as a nurse practitioner in internal medicine, family practice and neurology. Prior to that she worked as a registered nurse in intensive care for 7 years.

Thu has been with Desert Hematology Oncology since 2022. Prior to joining DHO, Thu served as a Nurse Practitioner for over 4 years in Brooklyn, NY in cardiology and internal medicine.
